Teacher Training Digital Ecosystem Project – Trainer Training Begins!

The "Teacher Training Digital Ecosystem Project Trainer Training" has started as part of the Teacher Training Digital Ecosystem Project, conducted by the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies (YEĞİTEK) in collaboration with UNICEF and with the support of the European Union.

A Step Forward in Digital Education Transformation

The training program, which began on February 3 in Istanbul, was attended by:

Emphasis on Digital Transformation in Education

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Muhammet Bilal Macit highlighted the importance of effective use of digital technologies in education. He stated that adapting teachers to digital transformation through the Ministry’s strong technological infrastructure would create a positive impact on students.

YEĞİTEK General Director Mustafa Canlı emphasized that this project aligns with the Ministry's educational technology initiatives, aiming to enhance teachers’ digital skills through 10 modular digital competency training programs.

UNICEF representatives and project experts provided detailed insights into the program, highlighting the positive impact of digital transformation efforts on both teachers and students.

Digital Competency Training for Teachers

• The 5-day Trainer Training Program is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to act as facilitators and mentors in upcoming online teacher training sessions.
• Next Training Dates: February 10-14, 2025
• 205 additional participants will join the second phase of the training program.
