Türk Telekom Empowers 30,000 Women and Supports Over 55,000 Students with Digital Skills and Education!
Türk Telekom’s ‘Digital Life Made Easy’ initiative has empowered 30,000 women with digital skills and provided educational support to over 55,000 students. Enhancing digital literacy, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and education through technology, the initiative continues to create a positive impact.

Türk Telekom, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Habitat Association, and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), continues to strengthen women and students through the ‘Dijitalde Hayat Kolay’ (Digital Life Made Easy) initiative. This project equips women with essential digital skills to enhance their economic and social empowerment.
Launched in 2019, the initiative was expanded in 2024 to prioritize women in earthquake-affected regions. To date, 30,000 women have participated in online and in-person training on Digital Literacy, Market & Customer Analysis, E-commerce, Crisis Management, Social Media Marketing, and Photography. Among them, 2,000 women from the earthquake zone have further developed their digital skills.
In addition, a mentorship and grant program awarded 20 female entrepreneurs with business development grants, including 12 from the earthquake region. These entrepreneurs operate across diverse sectors, including food, agri-tech, furniture, textiles, healthcare, software, publishing, and cosmetics.
Türk Telekom CEO Ümit Önal met with these women entrepreneurs to celebrate their success and learn about their innovative projects.
