At the 1st Ministerial Meeting of the Turkey-Hungary Defense Innovation Working Group, hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, both nations outlined plans for deeper collaborations in military simulation, R&D, and digital educational technologies.

Turkey has successfully increased its domestic production rate in defense to over 80%. The country also achieved a record-breaking $7.1 billion in defense exports in 2023. Through this strategic partnership, Turkey will share its expertise in:

Additionally, Minister Kacır announced that new collaborations will be explored under NATO’s High Visibility Projects and the DIANA Program.
