Teknosa Announces the Social Impact of the "Technology for Women" Program Over the Last Three Years
The “Technology for Women” project, carried out in collaboration with Teknosa and Habitat Association, has generated 4.16 TL of social value for every 1 TL investment over the past three years. In 2024, an AI module was added to the training program.

Teknosa, in collaboration with Habitat Association, has been running the "Technology for Women" project since 2007, aiming to enhance women's digital skills and active participation in technology. Over 18 years, the program has reached 33,000 women across Turkey. A recent independent Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis revealed that for every 1 TL invested in the project, 4.16 TL of social value was generated over the past three years.
The program has provided training in Mobile Photography, Canva Workshops, Career Planning, and Technology Literacy over the last three years. According to surveys conducted with 9,103 women, the impact has been significant:
- 95% improved their internet and social media skills.
- 90% integrated their learning into daily life.
- 92% felt confident using Canva for professional projects.
- 95.8% reported taking more creative photos.
- 95.6% learned to verify digital media sources.
- 93% used the training to develop career plans.
By enhancing their digital literacy, women have gained the skills to create social media content, photography, and graphic design, contributing more effectively to the workforce. They have also taken significant steps toward economic independence by strengthening their digital competencies.
AI Module Introduced in 2024
Teknosa CEO Sitare Sezgin announced that in 2024, an artificial intelligence module was added to the training program. Sezgin emphasized the program’s long-term success and stated:
“We are proud to see that every 1 TL invested over the last three years has created 4.16 TL of social value. In 2024, we reached more than 2,000 women, and we have already started preparations for the 2025 program. As technology rapidly evolves, we have included an AI module in response to both industry trends and participant feedback. Additionally, we will continue our ‘Inspiring Meetings’ initiative, bringing together women from the program with successful female professionals. These events will be held every four months in different cities.”
