At EdTech Türkiye, we warmly welcome and highly value this strategic move by the Ministry of National Education.

We believe that this initiative will deliver significant benefits to Türkiye’s educational technologies ecosystem:

  • Effective Policy Implementation: National policies on educational technologies will now be implemented more efficiently and visibly at the local level.
  • Systematic Infrastructure Management: Schools’ technological infrastructures will be managed and updated through a more planned and systematic approach.
  • Organized Projects: Critical areas such as digital content production, professional development for teachers, enhancing students’ digital competencies, and promoting safe internet use will be addressed through more organized and impactful projects.
  • Strengthened Local Capacity: Provinces will develop more capable and coordinated structures, ready for national and international collaborations and projects.

The establishment and effective use of learning laboratories, innovative classrooms, studios, and workshops represent a critical opportunity to expand hands-on experiences with educational technologies across the country.

Moreover, having multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, engineers, and programmers—will combine theoretical expertise with practical application, significantly enhancing the quality of educational technology implementation on the ground.

We fully support this major step that strengthens Türkiye’s digital education vision and are excited to closely follow its implementation and impact on the education ecosystem.
